The drive from Boulder to Yellowstone included stops near Laramie and Boulder, WY. The drive is beautiful and you don’t really get tired of those views. We took our time with 2 stopovers, and really got used to using the RV. We ate all of our meals in the RV and did some serious food shopping.
Angela prepped lots of healthy meals, smoothies for breakfast, and even juiced. She made some great drinks including a Kale and apple concoction that the littles actually loved.
Jackson was simply incredible. And we could have probably spent days just exploring the town.
We got into our campsite on Friday night around 5:30 and had our first real test parking this monster. I spent at least 30 minutes trying to maneuver this thing into a tight spot. Thank god one of our half drunk camp neighbors helped guide me in. I was getting to the point of giving up, but he “got er done”, and saved the day. Thank goodness for the kindness of the RV community.
We have 3 nights and days to settle into Yellowstone, but we really got a feel for the scale of the place on the drive in. The place is immense. I imagine you could spend a lifetime here and never really get to know it.
